  • Which documents should I bring to a dental visit?
    If you have direct billing, bring your passport and insurance card. If you do not have direct billing, simply bring your passport.
  • Are the checkup items in all checkup institutions the same?
    The checkup items in domestic hospitals, Taiwan hospitals and Hong Kong hospitals are not the same. You may call us to find out about the specific items available in all checkup institutions.
  • How long does it take to make a VIP outpatient reservation?
    Generally, it will take 1-2 days to make a general VIP outpatient reservation, however the time depends on your location and medical requirements.
  • What is the difference between a network hospital and a designated hospital?
    Network hospitals provide value-added services like a reservation service and direct billing (subject to specific insurance policies). Designated hospitals refer to hospitals in the network with medical expenses that exceed standard rates. The benefit ratio may, therefore, decrease (outlined in your specific insurance policy contract).
  • What documents are needed for overseas network hospital visits?
    For overseas hospital visits, you need to bring your passport and insurance card. Please be sure to call Ping An beforehand to notify us.
  • What is the second medical opinion service?
    If you, your spouse or dependant child up to 19 years of age (23 if a full-time, unmarried student)) are diagnosed with the following 18 critical diseases, we will provide you with a second medical opinion from domestic and overseas well-known doctors in the relevant field.
    *Note: Please refer to your policy documents to see whether you qualify for the second medical opinion service.
