Polar

Ping An Health Vitality members can use a Polar fitness monitor while exercising and earn Vitality points for every valid exercise session they do.

  • Vitality members can buy one of the following Polar fitness monitors at 35% less than the market price:

  • Vitality physical activity partners include gym outlets and fitness monitors (miCoach, Belter, Fitbug and lovefit). You can use any of the Vitality physical activity partners to get active. You can only earn a maximum of 25 Vitality points from one of them on a day.
  • A valid exercise session consist of (all the criteria below must be met):
    A. Accumulated exercise time of at least 30 minutes per day.
    B. Average heart rate of at least 60% of your maximum heart rate.

    a) Maximum heart rate = 220 - your age (in full years).

    b) Average heart rate is rounded up to the nearest whole number.

  • You can earn a maximum of 25 Vitality points from any one of our Vitality physical activity partners per day, for example, by exercising at one of our partner gym outlets or by using a Vitality-linked exercise monitor (Fitbug, miCoach, Belter) when you exercise.
  • In each year, a maximum of 9 125 points will be awarded for completing a Vitality Fitness Assessment and participating in physical exercise.
  • Vitality points will be loaded onto your Vitality account and will reflect on your Vitality Points Monitor one day after you have uploaded your valid Polar exercise data.
  • You can only earn Vitality points if your Polar account is linked to your Vitality membership. No Vitality points will be awarded for exercise sessions done before activation of the Vitality benefit.
  • You can only earn Vitality points while your Vitality policy is valid.
  • You can buy several Polar fitness monitors, but only one Polar device may be linked to your Vitality account.
  • Only members over the age of 18 are eligible to earn points using a Polar device.
  • Ping An Health reserves the right to decline or deduct Vitality points earned, including but not limited to the following circumstances:
    A. Ping An Health has reason to believe that you have intentionally used another person's Polar device to link to your Vitality membership.
    B. You have allowed other people to use your registered Polar device.
    C. You have provided false or misleading information.
